Ranganadi Dam

Ranganadi Dam is located in the Lower Subansiri District of the State of Arunachal Pradesh in the Ranganadi River, a tributary of the Brahmaputra River and the adjoining Dikrong basin.

The project consists of a 68 m high and 339 m long concrete gravity dam with 5 spillway radial gates to absorb the design flood of 13,241 cumec and has an installed capacity of 405 MW.

Encardio-rite was awarded the complete contract for the supply as well as installation of safety monitoring instrumentation for the project. The instrumentation included:
